Ducky Derby Prizes and Conditions

Grand Prize

Response Construction agrees to donate to the Ducky Derby the following prize on the following conditions and limitations.

Grand Prize - $25,000.00 DOLLAR RESIDENTIAL RENOVATION/MAKEOVER

A.Non-cash prize only, equivalent in labor and materials to be provided, no cash value;
B.Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below; and
C.Winner must be an adult AGE ?

Conditions and limitations:

Prize includes all supplies, materials and labor to need to remodel any residence (not commercial), consisting of a single room or combination of rooms or garage up to value of $15,000.00. Any cost ABOVE prize value to be paid by Winner.
1. Winner is allowed to select products and materials to be installed, subject to availability. If product or material not available or on back order over 30 days, then substitute must be selected. Winner responsible for all costs over prize value. Installation method to be in the discretion of Response Construction, but according to industry standard and practice and manufacturer's specifications.
2. Response Construction will provide an estimate of the work to be performed, based upon Response Constructions standard labor rates and estimated actual costs of materials. Any cost of construction exceeding the value of either prize will be paid by winner, at Response Construction's normal labor rates and materials costs.
3. Construction location must be no more than 25 miles from the City limits of the City of Redding, California. Any additional mileage reimbursed to Response Construction at standard I.R.S. mileage rate.
4. Winner responsible for all governmental permit fees and sales tax, if applicable, which are the separate responsibility of the winner.
5. Winner is responsible for all site preparations prior to construction such as removal of personal belonging, except for actual demolition. Any demolition and clean up will be by Response Construction and included in the total valuation.
6. The start date, completion date, and construction time line for construction to be agreed upon between Winner and Response Construction. The agreed construction time line to be set forth in contract to be entered into between Winner and Response Construction. Day-to-day construction will be at the sole discretion of Response Construction and subject other normal work or projects undertaken by Response Construction.
7. All donated labor will be valued at Response Constructions normally applicable labor rates. All materials will be at actual cost to Response Construction. All materials subject to 30 day availability.
8. Response Construction will be responsible for coordinating all governmental inspections.
9. Normal warranty as provided for by California law will apply.
10. Winner agrees to enter into standard Response Construction contract.
11. Prize may be transferred to any person designated by Winner with the approval of Response Construction and subject to all terms and conditions.
12. Tax Payer ID number to be provided prior to start of construction and all applicable income taxes on the value of prize to be paid by the Winner

2ND PRIZE

InterWest Insurance Services, Inc. is pleased to donate to the 2008 Ducky Derby the following prize package:

A GIANTS BASEBALL FAN’S DREAM WEEKEND IN SAN FRANCISCO
Prize Package valued at over $1000

Prize package includes:

• 4 tickets and a parking pass to see the San Francisco Giants play in AT&T Park
• these great seats are located in Lower Box, Section 122, Seats #5, 6, 7, 8
• Lots of Giants baseball “goodies” including an autographed baseball
• 2 nights stay (Friday and Saturday nights) at the Villa Florence Hotel in the heart of Union Square.
• Gift Certificate for dinner on Saturday night at Kuleto’s – one of Union Square’s best restaurants (located adjacent to The Villa Florence Hotel)
• Brunch on Sunday morning
• Sunday – Bay cruise along San Francisco’s historic skyline

• This is a non-cash prize.  No part of this prize package may be redeemed for any cash value.
• Winner must be 21 years of age or older

Conditions and limitations:

• Prize to be redeemable during the 2009 Giants Baseball season.
• Game date will be determined among several choices offered by InterWest Insurance Services, Inc.
• Any costs incurred over and above what is included in the prize package will be the express responsibility of the winner.
• The winner will be required to sign a Liability Disclaimer.
• Prize may be transferred to any person designated by Winner with the approval of InterWest Insurance Services, Inc. and subject to all terms and conditions.

Fly Fishing Trip for 4 courtesy of Jim Murphy

Fly fishing trip for two within 75 miles of Redding.  Possibilities include Sacramento River, Upper Sacramento River, Pit River, Hat Creek, McCloud River, Trinity River.

Includes a streamside lunch.
Everything will be provided except for waders.
Trip must be taken by December 31, 2009
